What you'll be doing

You'll lead the nursing process for adults in our inpatient psychiatric setting. That means owning the assessment from the moment a patient arrives, looking at the whole picture; biological, psychological, social; to build a real understanding.

• Developing and updating individualized nursing care plans that sync up with the broader treatment strategy. Your interventions need to be specific to the patient's age and their recovery goals.
• Running or co facilitating group therapy sessions. This is where you help foster breakthroughs.
• You're a core part of the treatment team. You'll collaborate with therapists, doctors, and others to review progress and adjust approaches as needed.
• A big part of your voice will be in treatment conferences. You'll translate what you're seeing at the bedside into insights that shape and improve patient outcomes.

What you need to bring

The non negotiables first. You must have a current Registered Nurse license before your start date. You also need to get your BLS Provider certification (from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross) within your first 30 days on the job.

For education, you need either a nursing diploma from an accredited school or the required professional licensure in hand at the time of hire.
