What you'll do
You'll perform all Nuclear Medicine procedures. The goal is simple: provide quality patient care by following established policies and standards.
A big part of that is communication. You need to be able to talk professionally with patients, nurses, physicians, and other staff. And you've got to create a sensitive, supportive environment for patients and their families while delivering quality diagnostic results.
What you need to bring
- You must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.
- Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or certification as a Nuclear Medical Technologist (CNMT) is required. Being ARRT registry eligible works too.
- Experience in Nuclear Medicine is necessary; this can include time spent in a formal training program.
- They'd really prefer someone with about three years of experience working in a nuclear medicine department.
- This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID 19 based on local, state, and/or federal regulations. Medical or religious exemptions can be approved.
