The Gig
This is a role for a Retail Field Trainer with Advantage Solutions. You'll be out in Wichita, KS stores, not stuck behind a desk. Your main job is delivering in store training to Event Specialists, helping new team members get up to speed, and building solid relationships with the store staff. It's about motivating retail teams, driving sales, and making the shopping experience genuinely engaging.
What You'll Actually Do
- Deliver hands on, in store training to Event Specialists
- Support the onboarding process for new team members
- Build and maintain positive, productive relationships with store personnel
- Coach team members on improving performance with a positive, encouraging approach
- Engage with customers and consumers to recommend product sales
- Prepare, cook, and clean your work area and equipment as needed
What You Need to Bring
- You're 21 years or older
- 2 3 years experience in event marketing, demonstrations, customer service, sales, retail/grocery, or coaching for improvement (this is preferred, not required)
- Prior supervisory experience
- A self starter attitude with the ability to work independently and hit goals
- Comfortable coaching people to improve from a positive point of view
- Good with the public; you can talk to consumers and recommend products naturally
- Basic computer skills ; familiarity with Word, Excel, and the Internet
- Friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing when interacting with customers and management
- You're available to work up to 28 hours, 5 shifts per week, Thursday through Monday
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and stand for up to 6 hours
- Comfortable preparing and cooking food, plus cleaning the work area and equipment
- Reliable transportation to and from Wichita, KS
- A safety first mentality when working in a retail environment
The Schedule & Pay
Hours are up to 28 per week, with 5 shifts Thursday through Monday. Pay lands between $20.00 and $25.00 per hour. Additional hours may be available if you want them.
