Assembly Technician

Manpower is hiring an Assembly Technician for a client in the manufacturing industry, based in Wichita, KS. This is a first shift position ; Flex 10 ; and you'd be part of the production department supporting assembly operations.

The people who do best here tend to have good attention to detail and solid problem solving skills. You don't need previous experience in manufacturing or assembly ; zero years minimum. What matters more is that you can work efficiently with others and follow instructions carefully.

What you'll actually do

• Assemble components according to specifications and safety standards
• Inspect and test finished products for quality assurance
• Keep your work area clean and organized
• Follow detailed work instructions and safety procedures
• Work alongside team members to meet production goals

What you need to bring

• The ability to follow detailed instructions and safety guidelines without cutting corners
• A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to quality standards
• Good communication skills ; you'll be talking with teammates regularly
• A reliable, punctual work ethic. Showing up matters.
• A willingness to collaborate. This isn't a solo gig.

The pay and schedule

The pay rate is a consistent $19 per hour. The shift is Flex 10 First Shift ; that's ten hours starting on first shift, with some flexibility built in.
