Sales Representative

The Opportunity

Resort Lifestyle Communities is looking for a Senior Living Consultant in West Des Moines, IA. This isn't a standard sales job. You'll be guiding seniors and their families through a major life transition, helping them find an Independent Living community that gives them security and peace of mind. The core of the role is driving occupancy growth, but how you do that matters just as much as the numbers.

What You'll Do Day to Day

This role mixes strategy with real human connection. You'll work with Community Managers and Field Support Leadership to create a sales plan that hits occupancy goals. When things are slow and tours are light, you'll be proactive ; making high volumes of calls, sometimes over 50 in a day, to fill your pipeline.

• Build relationships with prospective residents through phone calls, home visits, and personalized tours
• Uncover each person's needs, address their concerns, and move the sales process forward using the RLC approach
• Grow your lead base by reaching out to senior living influencers and community partners
• Attend events that open doors to new residents
• Take part in leadership meetings to plan events, solve problems, and support business goals
• Give regular updates to supervisors and Field Support on your prospect activity
• Secure signed rental agreements, complete move in paperwork, and collect deposits
• Manage paid waitlist deposits and handle all related documentation

Who This Is For

• At least 18 years old
• Flexible schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, plus evenings and extra days for tours and events
• Warm, credible presence when talking with seniors and their families
• Comfortable representing the community and building referral networks
• Self motivated, resilient, and able to thrive in a goal driven environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accurate with data entry
• Reliable transportation and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Physically able to lead tours and stay active throughout the day
