Territory Sales Manager

About This Role

This is a sales job for people who don't just take orders. You're building something. TruStile makes the architectural doors you see in high end homes, and we need someone to own our territory in Washington, DC. That means Maryland, DC, Northern Virginia, and West Virginia.

You won't be sitting behind a desk. You'll be the one figuring out how to grow our presence from the ground up.

What you'll do

  • Manage and develop our current network of millwork dealers to help them sell more.
  • Find and sign up new dealers in markets where we need a stronger footprint.
  • A big part of the job is creating demand yourself. You'll call directly on builders, architects, and interior designers to get TruStile specified early in their projects.
  • Work closely with our sister company, Marvin Windows & Doors, to present a unified solution to the market.
  • You'll train people. Think presentations and product sessions for groups of up to 50 dealers or trade professionals.
  • Use planning tools and our CRM (like Salesforce) to track your pipeline and every opportunity.
  • Be the go to expert for your dealers. They'll call you for project support and quoting help.

What you need to bring

  • A minimum of three years in sales, with a history of hitting your targets.
  • Direct experience selling through dealer channels in building materials, millwork, doors, or windows.
  • If you've sold to architects and designers before, that's a major advantage.
  • The skill to present confidently and train a room full of people.
  • A collaborative style; you'll be working with other sales teams here at TruStile and Marvin.
  • This territory is yours but it's spread out. Expect travel up to 80% of the time within Maryland, DC, Virginia, and West Virginia.
  • You should know your way around Microsoft Office and CRM software. We use Salesforce.

The details

The salary range for this role is $95,000 to $115,000 per year. On top of that, you're eligible for an annual bonus based directly on your sales performance.
