Alright, let's talk about this program. It's called Year Up United, and it's a pretty intensive deal designed to get you into a professional career, fast. We're talking one year or less of training, hands on skill building, and a direct path to an internship or job.

What This Program Is

It's a blend of classroom learning and real world experience. You'll develop technical and professional skills in a classroom setting, then put them to the test with access to internships and job placement support. The whole thing is backed by personalized coaching and mentorship to guide you through.

If you land an internship through the program, it could be with companies like BNY Mellon, Fidelity, or Bank of America, among other major organizations in the Washington, DC area.

The in depth classes focus on tracks like Application Development, Business Operations, Banking IT Support, Investment Operations, Data Analytics, Project Management Network Security & Support.

During the internship phase of the program, you'll earn an educational stipend of $525 per week.

Are You Eligible To Apply?

You can apply if you meet these criteria:

  • You're a high school graduate or have your GED.
  • You're eligible to work in the U.S.
  • You can be available Monday through Friday for the full duration of the program.
  • You're highly motivated to learn new technical and professional skills.
  • You have not obtained a Bachelor’s degree.
