This is a role inside our Analysis Solutions Business Area, where we focus on Security Engineering, Computer Network Operations, Mission Software, Analytical Methods and Modeling, Signals Intelligence, and Cryptographic Key Management. You'll document and shape the client's IT enterprise architecture, making sure it lines up with their vision of driving interoperability across organizations.
Here's what the day to day looks like:
- You develop an IT enterprise architecture that gives client stakeholders awareness of critical capabilities, dependencies, and mission critical impacts along with risks.
- You build out the Enterprise Architecture Baseline by discovering and capturing the "as is" state of the client's IT enterprise as it exists across multiple organizations throughout the enterprise.
- You work with the client's vision to capture the Enterprise Architecture Future State (the "to be" state) of their IT enterprise.
- You create guidance and architecture artifacts for the Enterprise Architecture Transition Plan so they can incrementally move from as is to future state.
- You collaborate closely with cross functional teams including content providers, content consumers, developers, engineers, and business analysts while fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
Who We Need
The basics are not negotiable. You bring an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph. A BS degree plus 12 to 15 years of relevant experience works; a Masters with 10 to 13 years also works; a Doctorate in a technical domain may substitute. And you have proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or Systems Engineer or similar role ; that's not optional.
On top of that we need solid knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks like UAF, TOGAF, Zachman, or DoDAF. Familiarity with Systems Modeling Language (SysML) or Unified Modeling Language (UML) plus Model Based Systems Engineering matters too.

A few things could tip the scales in your favor if you have them on your resume:
- Five or more years working within or alongside the Intelligence Community
- Hands on experience with Model Based Systems Engineering tools such as MagicDraw, Rational Rhapsody, Cameo, or Genesys
