Commercial Lines Insurance Producer

We're an independent brokerage that's been around for decades. We design insurance and risk management solutions for businesses and individuals ; it's what we do, and we do it with real strategy and care. You'd be joining a team that actually values expertise and collaboration, not just buzzwords.

This role is all about driving new business growth in commercial lines. You'll find, develop, and manage opportunities across targeted industries. It's a mix of relationship building, sales smarts, and making sure clients feel taken care of long after the policy is signed.

What you'll actually be doing

  • Prospect, develop, and close new commercial insurance business across targeted industries
  • Build a strong pipeline through networking, referrals, and strategic outreach ; no cold calling scripts here
  • Conduct client needs assessments and risk analysis to recommend the right coverage solutions
  • Design, negotiate, and present programs including General Liability, Property, Workers' Compensation, Commercial Auto, Umbrella/Excess, Professional Liability (E&O), and specialty coverages
  • Work side by side with account managers and marketing teams on submissions, proposals, and renewals
  • Stay in touch with clients ; policy reviews, coverage recommendations, risk mitigation strategies ; so they know you've got their back
  • Collaborate with carrier partners to negotiate pricing and coverage terms that actually work
  • Hit or exceed your individual production targets while keeping retention high
  • Keep up with industry trends carrier appetites market conditions ; it moves fast so you should too

The stuff you need to bring

  • A current active Property & Casualty insurance license (state specific)
  • At least 3 years of commercial insurance sales or related experience (brokerage or agency is a plus)
  • A solid record of hunting down new business growing revenue closing deals whatever you call it you've done it
