About This Role
What this role is really about
This isn't your typical "join our team" pitch. You'd be stepping into an independent business ownership model, but you're not doing it alone. Our firm backs you with real infrastructure: a full time compliance officer, a CFA charter holding CIO, and leadership from a producing CFP. The point is to give you the resources to grow your practice, protect what you build, and serve clients without getting bogged down in back office stuff.
What you'll actually do
- Cultivate long term relationships with clients that go beyond transactional advice
- Deliver comprehensive financial planning across investment strategies, retirement planning, estate planning, and insurance
- Run financial needs assessments and build out personalized plans from scratch
- Manage client portfolios and handle ongoing investment management work
- Educate clients on where markets are heading and what that means for their money
- Generate leads organically by building a strong referral network
- Stay tight with all regulatory and compliance requirements ; no shortcuts
What you need to bring
- A proven track record ; we're looking for at least $200k in annual fee production already under your belt
- The ability to talk through complex concepts clearly; presentation skills matter here too
- Sharp analytical thinking paired with real world problem solving instincts
- A client first mindset ; you measure success by outcomes, not activity metrics
- A Series 7 and Series 66 (or 63 & 65) license is preferred ; if you've got it, even better but not required on day one if close to finishing out exam(s)
- A bachelor degree in finance economics or another closely related discipline helps but it s not mandatory if everything else lines up business wise – honestly experience usually wins here when backed by results market knowledge which matters most anyway so don t hold back applying just because your diploma says something different.” tag then earlier missing closing tags .
