Job Overview
This Field Supervisor role puts you on the ground, managing crews and projects across Washington, DC. Duties & Responsibilities
- Direct daily activities for field crews, assigning tasks and monitoring site safety.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure all work meets project specifications and standards.
- Manage equipment and material logistics for your assigned sites in Washington, DC.
- Resolve onsite issues quickly, from crew conflicts to unexpected project delays.
- Complete accurate daily reports on progress, manpower, and any incidents.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel within Washington, DC is non negotiable.
- You need at least three years of experience in a hands on field role, with one year in a leadership capacity.
- The ability to read basic project plans and blueprints is essential.
- This isn't a desk job; you'll be on your feet outdoors most days, sometimes in varying weather conditions.
- A relevant trade certification or OSHA safety training is a significant plus.

Your office is your truck and the job site. You'll use a company phone and tablet for reporting, scheduling, and communication. Most days start early, coordinating with your crew before they hit the ground. You'll bounce between 2 3 sites daily in the Washington, DC area, so adaptability is part of the routine. The team relies on you for clear direction, but you also have to manage up, providing straightforward updates to project managers.
