What this program is about
Year Up United runs an intensive job training program that lasts one year or less. You'll get classroom training, access to internships, job placement services, and personal coaching and mentorship through four career pathways. If you're someone who likes building relationships, cares about how organizations work, and wants to use data to get business results, the Business job training pathway might be a good fit.
The Business pathway combines technical and professional training in Financial Operations with access to internships and job placement support through YUPRO Placement, our industry leading talent placement firm. If you get an internship, it could be at Bank of America, Merck, Amazon, or LinkedIn ; among other leading organizations in the Washington, DC area.
Who can apply
- You're a high school graduate or have a GED
- You're eligible to work in the U.S.
- You're available Monday through Friday for the whole program
- You're highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills
- You haven't earned a bachelor's degree yet
- You may need to answer extra screening questions when you apply

The internship and stipend
During the internship phase, you'll earn an educational stipend of $525 per week.
