About This Role
The Opportunity
This is a hands on role for someone who's been around heavy equipment and knows what it takes to keep a plant running. You'd be leading the 3rd shift maintenance crew at a heavy industry manufacturing facility in Tulsa, OK.
What You'll Actually Do
- Lead and mentor the maintenance technicians on your shift ; this isn't a desk job
- Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs to cut downtime before it starts
- Troubleshoot equipment issues as they come up and get things back online
- Use CMMS systems to track work orders, parts, and maintenance history
- Work with CAD (if you're mechanical) or PLC programming (if you're electrical) to solve problems
What You Need to Bring
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in steel (ideal), heavy industry, or manufacturing
- Strong troubleshooting skills ; you don't need a manual for everything
- CMMS experience is required; we use it every day
- Knowledge of CAD (mechanical side) or PLC programming (electrical side)
- You've led people before and can communicate clearly under pressure
The Pay & Benefits Package
- Competitive pay with overtime opportunities plus gain sharing ; your effort directly affects your paycheck
- Comprehensive health insurance including medical, dental, and vision coverage that actually covers things
- Career growth through training programs and mentorship from people who've been doing this longer than most of us have been alive
- A team culture that's supportive but serious about safety ; no shortcuts allowed here because they cost too much later on down the line. I should note: The team culture here really focuses on safety without being preachy about it.
