Fusion Medical Staffing is looking for a Physical Therapist for a 13 week travel assignment at a facility in Tucson, AZ. You'll evaluate and treat patients, helping them improve mobility, manage pain, and get back to their lives. It's clinical work that makes a direct difference.

The Role

You're the one who figures out what's going on and builds the plan to fix it. You'll see patients in settings like hospitals or rehab centers, creating personalized treatment programs based on evidence and their specific goals. A lot of your day is hands on.

• Evaluate patients using exams, tests, and their history to pinpoint needs.
• Develop and implement rehab programs focused on improving movement and reducing pain.
• Use different techniques and operate specialized therapy equipment safely.
• Track patient progress, adjust plans as you go, and document everything clearly in their record.
• Work directly with doctors, nurses, OTs, and other staff to coordinate care.
• Teach patients and their families about home exercises, injury prevention, and how to manage their recovery long term.
• Keep the treatment environment safe by following all protocols and guidelines.
• Participate in discharge planning so the transition out of care is smooth.

What You Need to Have

• A valid state Physical Therapy license that meets all regulations for Tucson, AZ.
• A current BLS certification from the AHA or ARC. You need this in hand.

A Few More Details

A Doctorate in physical therapy is preferred. We welcome new graduates to apply; prior experience isn't an absolute must have. Be ready for other certifications if the facility requires them. This job has physical demands: you'll be moving around, handling equipment weighing between 50 100 lbs., pushing, pulling, and bending. You have to communicate well in English; reading instructions, writing notes, talking with your team. And you'll need solid computer skills for documentation.
