What You'll Actually Do

• Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of an OTR/L
• Treat patients using evidence based techniques and current rehab technology
• Collaborate with the rehab team to adjust treatment plans as patients progress
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers about goals and outcomes
• Document treatments and patient responses according to hospital policy
• Bring compassion and patience into every interaction ; it matters here

What You Need to Bring

• A current state license or certification (required in states where applicable)
• An associate's degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program (preferred)
• CPR certification (preferred unless hospital policy says otherwise)
• Demonstrated competency in OT treatment techniques
• The ability to communicate clearly with all kinds of people ; patients, families, coworkers
• A genuine desire to see people get better, even when it's hard work
