The gig
Benevis puts smiles on faces ; over a million a year, to be specific. We're a dental company that focuses on quality, affordable care for underserved families, and we're looking for an Associate Dentist to join our office in Tucson, AZ.
You'll be treating kids mostly ; they make up 70% or more of our patient base ; along with adults up to 30% of the time, depending on the location. Our office uses DentaPro software, digital X ray and Panorex units, and fiber optic handpieces. The flow averages 10 12 operative patients and 20 25 hygiene patients per day. Payor mix includes state insurance plans, PPOs, and out of network plans.
Patient ages typically run 3 to 21, and you'll have a solid support team: one hygienist, one hygiene assistant, and two dental assistants per provider. You'll also join morning huddles ; you can even run one ; to plan your day, thank your teammates, and highlight wins around customer focus, collaboration, and meeting goals.
What you'll do
- Deliver dental care to your patients with support from your team
- Take care of your community and help promote a positive image of the company
- Participate in yearly OSHA, HIPAA, and Emergency Management training
What you need
- A DDS or DMD from a CODA accredited dental education program
- A current, valid license to practice dentistry in the state where you'll be working (or eligibility for licensure)
- CPR certification and DEA registration
- Nitrous Oxide certification if you're in LA, MS, DC, TX, or MA
- Compassion and real desire to care for both children and adults
