About This Role

The role

Clarvida is looking for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to work with children and adolescents in the Autism program. You'll be based in Tucson, AZ.

This job is about assessment, treatment planning, and behavioral intervention. You'll use evidence based practices to help clients build skills and improve their behavior. You'll work with families and other professionals, plus you'll supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).

What you'll do day to day

  • Manage your own client caseload: treatment planning, programming, and parent training
  • Conduct assessments using direct and indirect methods, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on what the assessments tell you, then monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Provide consultation, observation, and behavioral analysis services
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and community stakeholders
  • Supervise RBTs ; this includes giving feedback, modeling techniques, and doing competency evaluations
  • Run ongoing staff training and support, plus monthly team observations
  • Meet assigned billing and productivity requirements
  • Implement behavioral interventions like reinforcement, extinction, and other evidence based strategies
  • Coordinate care with other professionals and service providers
  • Complete documentation following company policies and clinical standards
  • Stay current on evidence based behavioral practices and comply with BACB ethical guidelines
  • Teach adaptive and functional life skills using the least restrictive methods
  • Take on additional duties as assigned

What you need to have

  • A master's degree in a BACB approved field
  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • Active Behavior Analyst license (this is state specific)
  • Completion of the 8 hour BACB Supervisor Training course
  • Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and practices
  • Solid organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze data and develop effective treatment interventions
  • Ability to manage your time and meet deadlines

What helps (but isn't required)

  • At least one year of related experience or training
  • Experience working with children and adolescents with autism
  • Experience supervising RBTs and providing clinical oversight

Compensation and benefits

This is a full time position in Tucson, AZ. You'll earn $50 to $52 per hour.

Work location and travel

You'll work in Tucson, AZ. Travel is required up to 50% of the time.
