What this role is about

LeafFilter by Leaf Home is the largest home remodeling company in North America. We sell gutter protection, and our sales consultants don't cold call. They don't run sweepstakes. Every lead is pre qualified by real people, so when you show up at a home, the homeowner knows why you're there.

You'll go to pre scheduled appointments in residential homes in and around Topeka, KS. No chasing down strangers. No 3 5 hour meetings that go nowhere. You do a product demo, talk through a custom quote, and help someone make a same day decision on their gutter protection. That's the job.

What you'll actually do day to day

• Drive from your home to pre qualified appointments with homeowners (the company generates the leads)
• Perform product demonstrations during in home consultations and discuss custom quotes
• Follow a value based selling process that relies on honesty and integrity ; not high pressure
• Attend trainings and regular sales meetings as needed
• Handle other duties as assigned (it's sales, stuff comes up)

What you need to bring

• A valid driver's license (required; you'll be driving to appointments)
• The ability to travel up to 2 hours for appointments on a daily basis (required)
• The ability to lift and carry between 20 and 60 lbs of sample materials (required; those samples aren't light)
• The ability to navigate various applications on an iPad (required; it's how we run presentations and quotes)
• A willingness to learn our structured, proven sales process ; we train you on it
• A real desire to close the sale ; this isn't just "show up and hope" work

Previous outside sales experience isn't required. Some of our best consultants came from completely different backgrounds. If you think you've got the talent, we have the training.

Schedule & compensation

This is full time work with flexibility built into your week. You'll need evening and weekend availability ; that's non negotiable because that's when homeowners are home. Typical days are Monday through Saturday as needed.

The pay structure is uncapped commission only, with current consultants earning between $80,000 and $220,000 plus. There are performance based bonus opportunities too. You also get ICBA Contractors insurance coverage through us.

A few practical notes before you apply

Candidates must be comfortable working evenings and weekends. You need reliable transportation for daily travel up to 2 hours each way. You must be able to handle physical lifting of sample materials weighing 20 60 lbs without assistance.

A word about who does well here

The people who succeed in this role aren't necessarily experienced outside sales reps. They're people who genuinely want to close deals and are willing to follow a system that works. The training covers everything else: product knowledge, presentation flow, handling objections.

The base requirement is simple: show up at pre scheduled homes with sample materials in hand, give an honest presentation about gutter protection that solves real problems homeowners face every day (especially during heavy rain), ask for the business confidently but respectfully ; then collect commissions that stack fast because there's no cap on what you can earn per deal or per month or per year.
