General/Operations Manager

Alright, let's talk about this one. It's a big job. You'd be running the entire basement waterproofing business for Erie Home in Toledo, OH. That means you're the one holding the P&L, leading the teams, and making sure everything from the first sales call to the final warranty check is done right.

The Job

You're in charge of the whole show for basement waterproofing. Your main goal is to grow revenue and make sure the operation runs smoothly and profitably. You'll lead everyone involved: sales, operations, installation crews, and service teams.

• You own the profit and loss statement for this part of the business. Growing revenue, managing margins, and controlling costs are all on your desk.
• Leading those cross functional teams is central. You'll develop them, align their goals, and drive accountability.
• A big part of your focus will be on executing the sales strategy. That includes coaching the team on lead conversion, maintaining pricing discipline, managing forecasts, and hitting targets.
• Overseeing field operations is non negotiable. Projects need to be done safely, on schedule, and must meet all our quality standards as well as warranty and regulatory requirements.
• The customer experience from start to finish is your responsibility. We want it to be exceptional at every point: consultation, installation, and any follow up service.
• You'll build out scalable processes for things like scheduling jobs, planning labor capacity, managing inventory; anything that makes us more efficient.
• We need you to dig into market trends, financial reports, performance data, and customer feedback. Use that info to spot opportunities or fix problems before they grow.
• Safety and compliance aren't just checkboxes here; you have to ensure strict adherence across all waterproofing work.
• This isn't a silo. You'll partner with folks in Marketing, Finance, HR, and Executive Leadership to support bigger strategic moves and help with geographic expansion plans.

What You Need To Bring

A bachelor's degree is preferred here. But if you don't have one? We can work with an equivalent combination of education plus training plus real world experience instead.

• The core requirement is 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in construction or home services; waterproofing or basement solutions experience fits perfectly here too. An important note: An additional 3+ years of relevant experience can substitute for formal education if needed.
• A proven track record of leading multi functional teams where you've consistently exceeded revenue goals while also hitting profitability targets.
• Strong financial acumen is mandatory because you'll have direct P&L ownership.
• The role requires excellent organizational skills along with leadership ability.
• You must be legally authorized to work in this country without needing sponsorship now or later.
