Registered Nurse

The Role

Los Robles Regional Medical Center needs an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a PRN position in Thousand Oaks, CA. This isn't just a job where you follow orders. Your voice matters here, whether you're talking through a case with your manager or contributing to hospital wide nursing initiatives. You'll be the patient's advocate during surgery, making sure the operative permit matches what's planned, and keeping an eye on the whole OR suite to ensure it's clean, sterile, and stocked. You'll prep patients physically and emotionally, verify their identity against their chart and ID band, and anticipate what they'll need during the procedure. Staying on top of the OR schedule to keep patient flow smooth and turning over rooms quickly between cases is part of the deal. You'll also assist the anesthesia provider as needed and document everything in the patient's medical record.

What You'll Need

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• A current California RN license in good standing
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• At least 2 years of Operating Room experience

Schedule & Pay

This is a PRN position. The hourly wage estimate for this role is $57.77 to $82.16 per hour. Your actual pay will depend on your specific skills and how many years of experience you have. Typically, someone hired is below the midpoint of that range.
