Job Overview

This VP of Finance position is a leadership role for someone ready to own the financial strategy and health of an organization. Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's financial strategy, including long range planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Lead all aspects of financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
• Manage capital structure, cash flow, and treasury functions to optimize financial performance and support strategic initiatives.
• Oversee the accounting team, fostering a culture of precision and continuous improvement in all financial processes.
• Provide insightful analysis and data driven recommendations to the CEO and board on profitability, investments, and risk management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, investors, auditors, and other external financial partners.

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role like Director or VP.
• Expertise in corporate finance, strategic planning, and financial modeling is non negotiable. You need to know the numbers inside out.
• A CPA or CMA certification is strongly preferred; an MBA in Finance or a related field is a major plus.
• The mental stamina to navigate complex problems under pressure is essential. You'll be synthesizing large amounts of data to make critical decisions.
