About This Role
Alright, let's talk about this job. It's not your typical sales gig. You'd be out in the community, talking with seniors and the people who support them, explaining a different kind of healthcare. The official title is Membership Growth Consultant, but think of it as an outside sales role built on relationships.
What you'd do
Your main focus is connecting with Medicare eligible seniors, 55 and older, especially those who are medically underserved. You'll meet them where they are; in their homes, at community centers, places of worship, or senior living facilities.
- Build partnerships with local businesses and community groups that serve seniors.
- Plan and run local events like health fairs or informational talks to reach potential patients.
- Cultivate referral relationships with health plan agents, insurance brokers, social workers, and senior housing managers.
- Schedule one on one meetings to address questions and guide seniors through their options.
- Manage vendor relationships for events and negotiate with venues.
- Use our CRM tool (Salesforce) daily to track every client interaction and lead.
- Develop monthly activity plans and strategies for key target areas.
- Follow up with enrolled patients to help with retention and address any concerns they have early on.
The person we need
This is the first tier in a clear career path here. We're looking for someone who's building their skills but brings the right foundation. You don't need to be an expert yet; you need to be ready to learn and act.
- A drive for results is non negotiable. You persist through obstacles and have a history of meeting or beating goals.
- You're action oriented. When you see an opportunity or a challenge, you move on it without overthinking.
- Trust is everything. You're direct, you keep commitments, and people believe what you say because your words match your actions.
- You can communicate effectively. This means delivering presentations to groups and connecting genuinely in one on one conversations.
- A valid driver’s license is required. You'll be out in Tampa, FL, not stuck at a desk all day.
The details
The schedule follows a standard business week: Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. It's a full time position based in Tampa, FL where you'll be active in the community most days.
*A note on applying:*
The application process includes several steps after you submit your resume: an assessment test (about 10 minutes), followed by two video interviews if you move forward.
