Registered Nurse

Who we're looking for

A Registered Nurse with strong cardiac care experience who's comfortable in high acuity settings. This is a travel contract through Capstone Healthcare Staffing in Stockton, CA.

What you'll actually do

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments using approved nursing techniques and policies
• Document patient care according to the facility's standards of care
• Develop, initiate, and execute personalized care plans for each patient
• Participate in performance improvement activities and shared governance meetings
• Provide clinical expertise and guidance to support patient care across multiple units
• Use critical thinking to keep patients safe and escalate concerns when needed

The units you'll cover

This role works across Medical Surgical, Cardiac Telemetry, Stroke Neuro, Step Down ICU, and ICU units. You'll lean on your cardiac and ICU background while supporting other areas as they need you.

Experience & certifications you need

• 2 years of experience ; straight up, no exceptions here
• Active Illinois RN license (IL License)
• Current CPR certification
• AHA ACLS certification
• AHA NIHSS certification (NIH Stroke Scale)
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program, with education verification required
