Registered Nurse

It's a primary care office setting, part of the biggest medical practice in New England. You'd be working under provider direction, but you're the one using the nursing process; assessing, planning, intervening, evaluating; to handle patient care.

What you'd be doing

The work is all about skilled nursing care. You're not just following orders; you're applying standards and protocols to manage actual or potential health problems. Your day to day involves direct patient interaction and clinical judgment in that office environment.

• Provide nursing care based on provider direction and established nursing practices.
• Use your assessment skills to plan and intervene in patient care.
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust as needed.

What you need to have

The non negotiable is a current Connecticut RN license. You've got to have that. Beyond the license, we're ideally looking for someone who's been in a medical or surgical office before. It's not a strict requirement, but it's definitely preferred.

• A current Connecticut Registered Nurse license is required.
• Previous experience in a Medical/Surgical Office setting is a big plus.
• You should have some experience with medical software systems.

The schedule & details

This position is at 30 Loeffler Road in Bloomfield (10559). The schedule is Monday through Thursday. You'll report directly to the Practice Manager there.
