Vascular Sonographer - Travel Assignment

Trusted is looking for a Vascular Sonographer to take on a travel assignment in Springfield, IL. This is a direct apply model; no recruiters calling you every five minutes. You see the job, you apply, and you keep more of what you earn. It's straightforward and it works.

The shift runs from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. You'll work three 12 hour shifts each week. Expect weekends once a month and rotating holidays. There's also a call commitment of one weeknight and one weekend per month.

What You'll Do

You'll step into a role that needs someone who can hit the ground running. This isn't a training position; it's for experienced pros who already know their way around the cath lab and vascular setups.

• Perform invasive cardiovascular procedures as part of the care team
• Handle call rotations of one weeknight and one weekend monthly
• Work weekends once a month and rotate through holidays
• Use your RCIS credential daily in patient care scenarios
• Manage up to 10 days maximum time off during the contract (plan ahead)

Experience Requirements

24 months of recent experience are required, with at least 3 months worked within the last 12 months.

A minimum 6 month gap is needed if you've done Per Diem work at HealthTrust Program - Albany Medical Center (AMC) before; plus no current placement there. Similarly, a 12 month gap applies if you worked Staff at that same program, with no current placement allowed either.

Candidates cannot live in any of these counties: Albany County, NY; Columbia County, NY; Dutchess County, NY; Fulton County, NY; Greene County, NY; Montgomery County, NY; Rensselaer County, NY; Saratoga, NY (both listings); Schenectady County, NY; Ulster County, NY; Warren County, NY; Washington County, NY. This assignment is travel only ; locals need not apply.

Required Credentials & Certifications

Minimum education:

• An Associate Degree
• - or -
• A graduate of an approved Cardiovascular Training Program
• - or -
• A graduate from an accredited Allied Health Program

Certs you must hold:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

A Skills Checklist is required. So are two Manager/Supervisor references dated within the last 12 months. Bring proof of identification too ; driver's license or passport works fine.
