ConGlobal is hiring a Gate Inspector right now for their intermodal facility. This isn't a desk job ; you'll be outdoors, on your feet, and you're the person who makes sure everything coming in and going out is safe and authorized. It's full time, day shift, Monday through Friday. Pay starts between $20.12 and $22.27 an hour.

What You'll Actually Do

• Inspect every inbound and outbound intermodal unit ; trucks, containers, chassis ; using a handheld device or computer system.
• Control who and what gets through the gate. You'll verify that only approved equipment and people enter or leave the facility.
• Log all inspection data into the system. Accuracy matters here.
• Talk with drivers, your coworkers, and terminal staff to keep everything moving safely and efficiently.
• Help maintain an orderly flow across the yard and keep equipment tracking accurate.
• Spot and report any damage, hazard, or safety issue you see. You're the first line of defense.

What You Need to Bring

• Basic computer skills ; you'll be using a handheld device and logging data.
• You pay close attention to details and take safety seriously.
• You can communicate clearly with drivers and team members.
• You're comfortable working outdoors in any weather. You'll be standing, walking, and doing physical tasks.
• Your schedule is open. This role may require working weekends, holidays, and different shifts.
• You must pass a pre employment background check, which may include a criminal background check, physical exam, and drug screening.
