Embedded Systems Engineer

Industrial Electrician

Hourly rate: $45 - $55 per hour. Direct hire position. No travel required.

What you'll actually do

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and components for production and facility operations.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment and hand tools to find the root cause of breakdowns.
• Perform preventive maintenance and reliability checks on motors, drives, conveyors, and automated equipment.
• Work with PLC controlled equipment; identify and resolve electrical issues. Basic programming or editing experience is preferred but not required.
• Collaborate with maintenance, production, and engineering to reduce downtime and improve equipment performance.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and electrical codes including NEC, OSHA, and NFPA 70E.
• Keep accurate documentation for maintenance records, wiring diagrams, and equipment changes.
• Handle facility electrical work: lighting, power distribution, and infrastructure support.

What you need to bring

• 3+ years experience as an Industrial Electrician in manufacturing, packaging, or food production.
• A solid grasp of electrical theory, schematics, blueprints, and control systems.
• Working knowledge of PLCs; Allen Bradley or Siemens is a plus.
• Proficiency with electrical testing tools: multimeters, meggers, oscilloscopes, and similar.
• Comfort working independently and responding to urgent maintenance issues.
• Flexibility to work all shifts and weekends.
