This CT Technologist position is for a skilled imaging professional ready to handle a diverse patient caseload. You'll operate advanced CT scanners, ensuring high quality diagnostic images in a clinical setting located in Seattle, WA. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and emergency CT scans following established protocols.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining steps and addressing concerns to ensure comfort and cooperation.
  • Monitor image quality during acquisition, making technical adjustments as needed for optimal results.
  • Administer contrast media orally or intravenously when ordered, observing patients for any reactions.
  • Maintain detailed patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Uphold strict safety standards for patients, yourself, and others regarding radiation protection.

Requirements

  • Active certification in Computed Tomography (CT) from the ARRT is required.
  • A valid state license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Hands on experience with major CT equipment brands; new grads with intensive clinical rotations will be considered.
  • The role involves frequent standing, walking, and assisting patients onto scanning tables.
  • You need the focus to follow complex protocols under time constraints while maintaining a calm demeanor.
