Veterinarian

Hey there. I'm putting out the call for a veterinarian to join the crew at Desert Tails Animal Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ. We're not looking for a cog in a machine; we're looking for someone who wants to practice good medicine with good people.

Our clinic is a full service hospital, and we've built it around the idea that if we take care of our team, they can take incredible care of our patients. You won't be fighting with outdated equipment or an unsupportive staff. We have modern diagnostics and a trained support team so you can focus on your work: medicine, surgery, dentistry, and building real relationships with clients and their pets.

The Role

This is a clinical position where you'll be seeing appointments, performing surgeries, and doing the full range of general practice work. The schedule has some flexibility; it can be full time or part time. Our regular hours are 8am to 6pm Monday through Friday, and we're open Saturdays from 8am until noon. This role does include working some Saturdays on an intermittent or rotating basis.

We're genuinely open to vets at any stage. New grad? Let's talk. Seasoned pro? Let's talk. The one firm requirement is that you need to be licensed in Arizona, or able to become licensed here.

The Place

The clinic is in North Scottsdale. It's a pretty great spot. You're minutes from hiking trails in the McDowell Sonoran Preserve and more golf courses than you can count. Old Town Scottsdale is close by for restaurants and shopping. It's got top schools and safe neighborhoods if that's your scene. Basically, it's a nice place to live and work.
