Shuttle Driver

The Gig

This is a Shuttle Driver position at The Terraces of Phoenix ; a HumanGood community in Scottsdale, AZ. You'll be the person who gets residents where they need to go, whether that's a doctor's appointment, a trip to the grocery store, or a local outing. You're the first face they see and the last one before they get home. So you've got to be warm, confident, and know what you're doing.

You'll also help folks with their packages, groceries, and luggage as part of the Resident Services team. And you'll keep the vehicles clean and properly maintained.

What You'll Actually Do

• Greet residents, team members, and visitors in a friendly and professional way
• Transport residents using cars, buses, and/or vans to appointments, local shopping, and activities
• Assist residents with getting in and out of vehicles and with their belongings
• Carry packages, groceries, and luggage for transportation around the community
• Maintain and clean the vehicles as needed
• Present yourself as a professional representative of HumanGood at all times

Schedule

This is a full time position and you need to be available on weekends. Here's the breakdown:

• Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (May through September). Then from September through April, it shifts to 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM every other week. That part can be discussed more in the interview.
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Sunday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Monday and Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

What You Need

• One to three years of experience driving a 12 passenger shuttle bus or van
• Strong customer service chops
• A valid Arizona driver's license
• A clean driving record with the Arizona DMV ; no serious violations
• A High School Diploma or equivalent

Pay

$19.00 - $21.00 per hour, depending on experience.
