What This Job Is About

This is a hands on supervisor role at MasterCorp in Scottsdale, AZ. You're not just directing people from a distance ; you're in the units, inspecting work, assigning duties, and jumping in to clean yourself during busy stretches. The whole point is making sure every guest walks into a spotless space and feels taken care of.

What You'll Actually Do

• Oversee cleaning staff daily and assign their duties
• Inspect units and complete the required amount of report cards per week
• Prep rooms for housekeepers during peak periods ; and clean rooms yourself using MasterCorp's 7 step process when it gets busy
• Train new hires and current staff on proper procedures
• Report unit maintenance issues like stains, damage, or wear on carpets, drapes, and furniture
• Replace kitchen inventory and supplies as needed
• Keep storage closets clean and organized
• Report lost and found items to the Executive Housekeeper
• Watch for safety issues at the site and office
• Handle inventory and linen supplies, including assisting with linen inventories
• Track time efficiency of your direct reports
• Help solve guest complaints quickly
• Build strong, positive relationships with resort guests and owners
• Know the resort well enough to answer questions
• Take on other duties tied to whatever services the client has contracted for

Who Fits Here

You don't need a long resume for this. A high school diploma or equivalent is the baseline. But you do need a real passion for cleanliness ; not just saying you like things tidy, but actually caring about the details. You should be able to motivate a team and train people who are newer. A strong work ethic goes without saying. And you need to genuinely want to help others, whether that's a coworker or a guest.

You'll work irregular hours, so flexibility matters.

Physical Side of the Job

You'll be on your feet a lot. Standing, walking, pushing, pulling, moving, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, reaching, and occasionally climbing stairs or ladders. Repetitive motions come with the territory. If you need a reasonable accommodation to do these tasks, we can work with that.

Schedule and Pay

Starting pay is $20 per hour. It's available as full time or part time. You start immediately ; no waiting around.
