About This Role
What you'll actually do day to day
You're a Medical Social Worker, and you bring clinical knowledge and real social work expertise to help people living with kidney disease. Your job is to educate patients on their treatment options, health decisions, and ways to live well despite the condition. You're supporting the social and emotional well being of every patient you see at Satellite Healthcare.
You'll conduct psychosocial assessments. You'll sit in on care planning sessions and team reviews, digging into what each patient needs right now. And you'll manage the services that help them cope with chronic kidney disease and dialysis treatments. It's serious work, and it matters.
What we're looking for
This isn't a role for someone who just clocks in. You approach your work with a real sense of purpose. You're high energy, always looking for ways to improve things for patients and staff. You're goal oriented, and you honestly get deep satisfaction from building genuine relationships.
- You want to make life better for people with kidney disease. That's the mission here, and you'll help deliver it.
- You bring an indisputable sense of greater purpose to what you do every day.
- You seek out opportunities to improve the environment, not just complain about it.
What you'll gain working here
Relationships. You'll work directly with a multi disciplinary team that cares as much as you do. You'll become a servant leader, helping your team provide care that's genuinely unsurpassed in this industry.
Impact. You set the tone. You help patients live a better life and address their needs holistically. Your work means they do dialysis to live, not live for dialysis.
Growth. There are formal and informal opportunities for professional growth here, in a supportive environment. You'll become a subject matter expert, and there's a wide range of paths for career advancement.
