About This Role
What You’ll Be Doing
This role is about running the daily show for our sales lead generation team in San Jose, CA. You’ll manage schedules, track performance hour by hour and day by day, and make sure we’re hitting branch goals. You’ll interview, recruit, and pick the right people to join the team as Lead Generators. Weekly meetings are your chance to inform, educate, and motivate ; you’ll share individual and team progress against goals, and you’ll get into role play to sharpen everyone’s customer approach, objection handling, and lead setting skills.
Training is a big part of it too. You’ll teach technical issues that affect the store program. You’ll give advance notice of store events from the pre planned calendar, changes in signage, promotional dates, store credit variations ; anything that keeps operations smooth. About 60 65% of your time will be spent out in the field with your Lead Generators and store management.
You need to meet or beat established departmental business performance standards for lead generation, staffing, and leads ran. Build positive working relationships with retail store personnel and area management. Meet with store managers or Home Services team members regularly to give performance updates and notify them of schedule or staffing changes. Inspect store displays to make sure they match current signage requirements or changes. Schedule and run planned store “events” ; always loop in Store Management. And at least every other month, conduct product knowledge training sessions with Store Associates and Department Heads.
What You Bring
- A High School diploma or GED equivalent (related experience or advanced training may substitute)
- Three years of demonstrated sales experience plus management experience
- Availability to work a five day workweek including weekends
- Service industry experience or HVAC knowledge is a plus
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, and selling skills
- Excellent communications recruiting and interviewing skills
- A self motivated and goal oriented mindset
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and MVR check
The Pay & Benefits Package
The base salary for this role in San Jose, CA is between $85,000 – $105,000 per year depending on experience. There's also an annual bonus opportunity on top of that.
