HVAC Technician

The Role

Atlas Trillo Heating & Air Conditioning, part of American Residential Services (ARS), is looking for an HVAC Comfort Advisor to work with homeowners in San Jose, CA. This isn't a desk job. You'll be out meeting people, looking at their current heating and cooling setups, and recommending replacement systems that actually fit their needs. We've been doing this for over 45 years with more than 7,000 team members across the country.

What You'll Actually Do

• Meet with homeowners during scheduled appointments to assess their HVAC system replacement needs
• Inspect existing heating and air conditioning equipment to figure out job scope and pricing ; expect to access attics, crawlspaces, basements, or mechanical areas
• Present professional recommendations for system upgrades and replacements
• Walk through financing options and system solutions during each consultation
• Close sales in a one call close environment ; that means you handle the whole thing in one visit
• Deliver a professional customer experience from start to finish, including handing things off smoothly to installation teams
• Work closely with those installation crews so nothing gets lost between the sale and the install
• Keep up with lead flow that's consistent but does fluctuate depending on seasonal and weather driven demand

The Compensation & Perks

This is a commissioned role with uncapped earning potential. Our reps can make $100k to $250k+ in a year ; it's realistic if you're good at this. Here's what else comes with it:

The Qualities We Need From You Before Day One

• Experience in outside sales or one call close environments in residential settings ; especially in home work where you're face to face with customers who need a decision right then.
