What You'll Actually Do

You'll manage all of Vi's dining venues, including the Care Center. That means you're the person making sure the staff delivers a top notch experience every single time. You'll oversee the day to day operations, and you'll have significant responsibility for the team's performance. It's a hands on leadership role in a formal dining setting.

What You Need to Bring

This isn't an entry level job. You need 5+ years of progressive experience managing food and beverage operations in a high end restaurant, country club, hotel, or senior living community. You should have solid, working knowledge of current service styles and techniques, plus you need to be comfortable with budgets and financial reporting.

• A high school diploma is required.
• A college degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management or Business is preferred.
• You'll need to possess (or be willing to obtain) a Food Handlers certification.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications are required, or you must be willing to get them.
• A Certified Dietary Manager or Certified Food Protection Professional license is preferred.
• You need to be able to supervise, hire, train, and actually build a high performing team ; not just manage one.
• You should have a strong systems orientation. That means solid Microsoft Office skills and experience with a POS system.
• You need real communication skills and financial acumen. The social standards here are what you'd expect in a formal dining operation.

Pay & Benefits

The pay range for this role is USD $70,384.47 to $87,996.54 per year.
