We're looking for a Clinical Resource Director to join HealthTrust Supply Chain in San Jose, CA. This isn't just a desk job. You'll be traveling between facilities in Las Vegas and San Jose, CA, working on the front lines of supply expense management. It's a hybrid role, so you'll split your time between working from home and being on site.
The salary range for this position is $87,547.20 to $148,824.00 per year. That's based on your specific skills and experience, with most new hires coming in below the midpoint of that range. And yes, this role is incentive eligible.
What you'll actually do
- Build and run the supply expense strategy for one or more hospitals through the clinical resource management program
- Develop facility level strategies to reduce supply expense per adjusted admission
- Spot supply expense variances and create action plans to keep costs from climbing; participate in monthly operating reports and planning sessions
- Drive margin improvement in high cost departments like surgical services, Cath lab, EP lab, and special procedures
- Lead value analysis meetings at the facility level, division level, or service line level with physicians ; including developing content for those meetings
- Work with clinical product value analysis committees to review products: look at clinical evidence, financial considerations like contract compliance and reimbursement, opportunities to standardize products and cut waste without hurting quality or patient outcomes
- Cultivate real relationships with hospital leadership (including chief medical officers), clinical directors, physicians, value analysis teams, and supply chain folks ; because nobody pulls off a supply expense plan alone
- Collaborate across departments on continuous improvement projects for supplies, technology changes that affect cost or care delivery
