What You'll Actually Do

You'll deliver care and services to residents by figuring out what they need, implementing the prescribed interventions, and then checking how things are going. It's hands on work.

• Perform personal care for residents as needed. No task is beneath you here.
• Communicate and collaborate with other members of the care team to solve resident care problems.
• Help enhance how we deliver care day to day.
• Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities.
• Evaluate outcomes and conditions regularly ; you're the one keeping an eye on things.

What You Need to Bring

Here's the non negotiable stuff. Don't apply if you don't have these lined up:

• A diploma from a School of Nursing for Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses.
• Current CPR certification AND AED certification.
• Current First Aid certification (or willingness to get it quickly).
• A food handlers certification where that applies.
• Basic computer skills or at least the willingness to learn them.

The Stuff That Helps But Isn't Required

• A minimum of 6 months experience working as an LPN/LVN is preferred ; not mandatory but it helps your application stand out.
• Prior experience working with geriatric clients is also preferred. If you've done this before, mention it.

The Pay & Schedule Details

The hourly range here lands between $33.84 and $42.31 per hour depending on your experience level. Benefits kick in fast too ; you start accruing paid time off on day one.
