The Opportunity
MGT is rethinking insurance from the ground up. We combine deep industry expertise with modern technology and AI to build a faster, smarter, and more adaptive insurance company. We're not trying to incrementally improve legacy models; we're building a fundamentally different kind of insurance company. This requires people who think differently, operate with urgency, and want to have real impact.
We need a Senior Insurance Recruiter who doesn't wait for talent to surface. Someone who knows where to find it, how to engage it, and how to bring it in.
What You'll Do
This is a high impact role. Success isn't just measured by filling roles but by identifying and closing the kind of talent that will help MGT scale and differentiate. You'll own recruiting across the insurance organization end to end.
- Lead full cycle recruiting across all core insurance functions including underwriting, claims, actuarial, product, operations, and tech enabled roles
- Build pipelines of high caliber, forward thinking insurance talent
- Engage passive candidates and convert them into hires
- Identify candidates who are motivated to build, not just maintain
- Partner directly with leadership on hiring strategy and priorities
- Position MGT as a compelling, tech forward alternative to traditional insurance companies
The Person We Need
You likely come from an insurance recruiting or search firm and have built deep, trusted relationships across the industry. You know who the high performers are and who is open to doing things differently.
- 6–10+ years of recruiting experience focused on insurance
- Experience at an insurance recruiting agency or search firm strongly preferred
- A proven ability to fill a wide range of insurance roles
- A strong network across the insurance talent market
- The ability to attract candidates who are open to innovation and change
- High urgency, strong judgment, and an ability to close deals that matter
Compensation & Benefits
The base salary ranges from $130K–$160K with total compensation reaching $160K–$210K+ plus equity. The final offer is based on experience, impact factors, and San Francisco, CA.
