A bit about Methodist Hospital
This place opened back in 1963 as the very first hospital in what's now the huge South Texas Medical Center. It's a flagship facility with over 900 beds covering specialties from cardiology and oncology to emergency medicine and orthopedics. They run the largest ECMO Program in San Antonio (which saves lives), claim the world's largest robotics program for surgery (pretty wild), and their Adult Blood Cancer/Stem Cell Transplant unit was actually first in North America to get FACT Accreditation; so yeah it’s kind of a-big deal type place overall!
Eligibility for all those benefits can depend on where exactly you're located.
