What You'd Be Doing

  • Perform all DOT pre trip and post trip safety checks on your tractor and trailer.
  • Inspect your load to make sure freight is secured properly before you roll.
  • Follow the predetermined route schedule for deliveries and pickups.
  • Hook and unhook trailers per our safety guidelines every time.
  • Park and store equipment in its designated spots when you're done.
  • Lock and secure all equipment and freight without exception.
  • Collect any damaged goods or customer returns, bring them back to base, and handle the paperwork.
  • Unload equipment or materials from trailers when needed; keep your tractor and our dock areas clean.
  • Accurate logging of your daily hours of service is a must, following all federal DOT and company rules.

And look, sometimes other duties come up. We all pitch in to get things done right.

The Must Haves

  • A valid Class A CDL with a Doubles Endorsement is non negotiable.
  • You need 6 to 12 months of commercial driving experience under your belt.
  • A clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the last three years is required.

  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience gets you in the door.
