The Work

You'll be based at a technology focused location. Your main job is to be a visible, professional security presence through regular armed patrols of the buildings, parking areas, and perimeter. It's about deterrence and observation.

• Patrol the property on foot; report any unusual conditions you see.
• Monitor who comes and goes. You'll verify credentials and manage visitor access.
• When an incident or alarm happens, you're the first response. We need someone who can stay calm, solve problems, and document everything clearly.
• A big part of this is customer service. You're interacting with all personnel and visitors, carrying out site procedures.
• You'll help protect sensitive equipment and information related assets on site.
• Every shift ends with solid paperwork: incident reports, daily activity logs, and a clear handoff to the next officer.

What You Need to Bring

This is an armed position. The requirements aren't suggestions; they're firm conditions for employment.

• You must possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Because it's armed, you have to be at least 21 years old.
• A high school diploma or equivalent (like a GED) is required.
• Everyone goes through a background investigation per federal, state, and local laws. We do consider qualified applications with criminal histories where the law allows.
• A drug screen is also a standard condition of employment.
• You'll need to participate in our industry specific security training programs once hired.

The Details & What We Provide

The pay is $26.00 per hour. This is a part time position with a set weekend overnight schedule:

• Saturday: 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM
• Sunday: 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM

But here’s something useful: we have this platform called Claim a Shift. It lets you browse and pick up additional shifts on top of your regular schedule if you want to earn more. Think of it as built in overtime control.
