What you'll do
- Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in the intensive care unit
- Monitor critically ill children and respond to changes in their condition
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other care team members
- Educate families on their child's condition and care plan
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately
What you need
- An RN Diploma degree or higher from an accredited school of nursing
- An active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas
- Experience in a Pediatric ICU setting
Pay range
Salary falls between $60,150 and $100,000 per year, depending on experience, shift, and the specific hospital you choose.
