About the Unit

This is for our Med/Surg Oncology unit in San Antonio, TX. It's a place where you can really dig into your nursing skills with a diverse patient population. We're looking to grow our family of nurses and support staff here.

The Role

You’re an RN delivering high quality, patient centered care. Your work aligns with department requirements and the standards of practice for our state and specialty.

• Independently deliver safe nursing care using the nursing process, critical thinking, scientific judgment, technical skills, and leadership.
• Collaborate with medical providers and the entire care team to provide personalized, comprehensive, compassionate care.
• Follow established models like "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage."
• Act as an advocate for patients, their families, and caregivers.
• Achieve quality patient outcomes by working with the patient care team.
• Show communication skills, confidence, and professionalism through active engagement in unit activities.
• Demonstrate teamwork and adaptability. You'll be a resource for others on the team.
• You have accountability for delivering quality nursing care.
