Full Stack Developer

Full Stack Developer (Technical Advisor) ; San Antonio, TX

This is a direct hire, full time role with Maximus, supporting mission critical work for a federal contract that's contingent upon award. You'll be working onsite in San Antonio, TX, five days a week, and you'll need an active TS/SCI clearance to be considered. What you'll do

You'll take ownership of technical planning, development, testing, deployment, and evaluation of system capabilities. This isn't a ticket pulling role. You'll provide day to day technical leadership and subject matter expertise across the full lifecycle of complex systems. You'll be the primary technical touchpoint to the JCC2 PMO, leading requirements decomposition, architecture reviews, and development planning. Expect to write and review requirements documents, develop functional architecture, lead technical analysis, and oversee contractor engineering phases for the JCO system. You'll also handle systems integration, documentation, and process improvement work as it comes up.

What you need to bring

• An active TS/SCI clearance (higher accepted).
• Bachelor's degree in a related field. A Master's can substitute for 2 years of experience.
• IAT Level II certification.
• 10 years of experience in the functional area.
• 10 years of software development experience with object oriented and scripted languages, plus tool suites for DevSecOps, microservices, and containers.
• 2 years of experience with container technology like Kubernetes, Docker, and Amazon EKS.
• 5 years of experience using bug tracking software such as Jira.
• 5 years of experience testing web based applications across multiple security domains: NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS.
• 5 years of demonstrated experience leading software development programs or projects.
• Experience preparing, conducting, and documenting systems tests to verify operability and compliance with standards.
• Practical experience integrating Restful interfaces and working with Restful data.
• Practical experience developing and deploying software in a cloud environment.

What would set you apart

• Experience using Agile Test Driven development.
• Experience integrating into DoD DevSecOps environments.
• 5 years of experience with CI/CD software development.
• Experience updating and enhancing already developed software application baselines to meet stakeholder needs.

Compensation and benefits

Pay is based on location, education, experience, and internal equity. Annual salary is one part of the total package. Other rewards can include short- and long term incentives and program specific awards.

This position is contingent upon contract award. Selected candidates will receive a contingent offer that becomes final only if Maximus wins the contract, the position is available, and you receive authorization to proceed. The role is fully onsite in San Antonio, TX.
