Environmental Engineer

Alright, let's get straight to it. We need a PM&R physician for some specific, sporadic coverage dates in San Antonio, TX. This isn't a full time gig; it's locum tenens work to fill in some gaps on the schedule. If you're looking for something flexible and don't mind traveling, this could be a good fit.

The Schedule & Assignment Details

The coverage needed is for three separate blocks:

• July 28th through the 31st
• August 6th through the 11th
• August 21st through the 27th, plus August 30th through September 2nd

You'd be handling a mix of inpatient cases, clinic work, and call. Expect to round on about 5 to 8 patients per day. The patient load is typically 3 to 6 per shift.

Call is variable; you might get 0 to 2 calls, and it's rare you'd have to go back in. When you're on call, it's for your assigned patients via beeper with a 10 30 minute response time. Most calls are phone consults. Plan for about two admissions per day.

The EMR system is Meditech. For support, there are typically two nurses and one CNA on staff.

What You Need to Bring

A current medical license is required. They accept IMLC licenses.

Compensation

The pay rate is between $100 and $1,000 per hour.
