What you'll be doing

- Helping with staff scheduling and managing labor to meet patient needs while staying within productivity guidelines.
- Keeping an eye on supplies and equipment, supporting good inventory control.
The qualifications you need
The certs are non negotiable here; it's a specialized area. You need to be a licensed RN first. Here’s what else you have to get certified in, along with their deadlines from your start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS): Required within your first 30 days.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS): Required within 90 days.
- S.T.A.B.L.E. Program certification: Required within 6 months.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP): Required within 90 days.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC): Required within 6 months.
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC): Required within 6 months as well.
