Director of Nursing

About the Role

I'm looking for an RN to step into the Assistant Director of Nursing position at Stone Oak Care Center in San Antonio, TX. This isn't a desk job where you're removed from the action. You'll be right in it, supporting the Director of Nursing with the day to day clinical operations and making sure our standards for care are met, every time.

You'd lead, mentor, and develop the nurses and CNAs on your team. A big part of this is building trust and being a go to resource for them. We need someone who partners well with leadership to roll out new practices that genuinely improve how our residents live. And of course, keeping us compliant with all the regulations while maintaining a culture of respect is central to everything.

What You Need to Bring

• A current, valid Texas RN license. If you have a Compact Party State RN license, that works too.
• At least two years in a leadership role within long term care or a skilled nursing setting.
• Sharp clinical judgment is non negotiable.
• You've got to be passionate about guiding and developing other nurses.
• This only works if you're collaborative and want your work to have a real impact here.

The Details & What We Provide

The salary goes up to $87,000, depending on your experience and license. There's also a $3,000 sign on bonus attached to this role.
