About This Role

Alright, let's talk about this job. It's for a Clinical Support Coordinator at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, TX. Think of it as the go to person for nurses who are new to the floor or switching specialties. You're not their boss, but you're their guide, their coach, and their safety net.

What you'll be doing

Your main focus is making sure patient care stays top notch by supporting the nurses. You'll be on the move between units, keeping an eye on things and stepping in to help when needed.

  • You make rounds on nursing units to observe patient care and spot where nurses might need a hand or some training.
  • When you see something; whether it's a skill that needs polishing, a process question, or equipment that isn't working right; you speak up and escalate it appropriately.
  • A big part of your day is giving constructive feedback. You'll review how nurses assess patients, plan care, and carry out interventions.
  • You're there to mentor. Help them work through a tricky assessment or troubleshoot how to do a specific procedure.
  • We'll give you an iMobile phone so new grads and transitioning nurses can reach you easily when they need support.
  • If you get called to a rapid response or a code, you're there. You observe, provide real time coaching if needed, and help debrief the team afterward to turn it into a learning moment.
  • You share what you know freely. This role is all about lifting up your coworkers.

The kind of person we need

This isn't just about clinical skills; it's about how you show up every day. We need someone who leads by example in every interaction.

  • You have to be a registered nurse (RN). That's non negotiable.
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required for this position.
  • You need at least three years of recent experience working in an acute care hospital setting as an RN.

The schedule & pay

This is a full time position. Your schedule will be Monday through Friday during the day shift hours. The pay range is $38.65 to $58.00 per hour, which factors in your relevant experience and qualifications.
