About This Role

Alright, let's talk about this EP Lab RN role at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, TX.

You're looking at a day shift position. You need to be available for call. The team there is tight knit; they work hard to back each other up and are looking for someone who finds patient care as meaningful as they do. They've got a comprehensive orientation, mentors who are specialists in their field, and leadership training if that's your path. The units have the latest tech for patient care.

What you'll be doing

  • Use the nursing process, critical thinking, and technical skills to deliver safe care independently.
  • Work with the patient care team to get the best outcomes.
  • Your communication and professionalism matter here; they want you engaged in unit and hospital activities.
  • Be adaptable, a team player, and a resource for others on the team.
  • You're accountable for the quality of nursing care and for representing the profession well.

What you need to bring

  • A diploma or degree from an accredited registered nursing program.
  • At least six months of clinical experience as a licensed RN.
  • A current Registered Nurse license in Texas or a Multi State Compact License. If you have a compact license, you'll need to get your Texas RN license within 60 days of starting.
  • You must get your Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of your start date.

The schedule & place

This is a full time day shift role at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, TX. Being on call is part of it. They're pretty proud of their programs; they run the largest ECMO program in San Antonio, have one of the world's biggest robotics programs, and their Adult Blood Cancer unit has some notable accreditation.
