The Pay and Schedule

You'll earn a base rate of $18 to $21 per hour, plus commission. Most people here end up making $20 to $30 per hour once incentives kick in. Hours vary, and weekends are required. Both part time and full time positions are available.

What the Job Actually Looks Like

You'll be inside a major home improvement retail store, talking with shoppers about their home comfort needs. Your main goal is to introduce homeowners to ARS and explain how we help with heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical services. Here's what you'll do day to day:

Start friendly conversations with shoppers about home comfort, energy efficiency, and indoor air quality
Explain how ARS helps homeowners with heating, cooling, and home comfort improvements
Offer customers the chance to schedule a free in home consultation
Enter customer information and book appointments for ARS specialists
Represent ARS with a positive, professional presence inside the store
Work alongside store management and ARS team members to support in store promotions

What You Need to Bring

You don't need HVAC experience. We'll train you. But you do need to be comfortable starting conversations with strangers in a retail aisle. Sales or retail experience is helpful but not required. What matters more:

You're comfortable approaching and speaking with customers
You have a positive, energetic personality
You can stand or walk for extended periods during shifts
You have reliable transportation to the assigned retail location
You're available for weekend retail hours and some holidays
A professional appearance suitable for a retail environment
Willingness to attend weekly team meetings
